Excelon Launches V2.0 Banking

We are excited to announce that Excelon V2.0 is live as of July 4th 2022, 12:30 BST

The previous version (V1.excelon.io) is entering into a Sunset mode and it will be alive until 30–9–2022 so all users have enough time to move their funds to the new version.

You can get access to the prvious version through the current app by visiting the section: Accounts > V1 Excelon Accounts > account name.

Launching Excelon V.2.0 brings us closer to our ultimate goal of providing a ubiquitous banking experience where you have the option to use your monety in all possible ways and get instant access to the new emerging Digital Currencies space.

What’s new in Excelon V.2.0

1. New Android and iOS apps supporting deeplinks and notifications. Get them now so you can get the best experience of notifications as well as gaining rewards by inviting your friends at Excelon.
2. 5 minutes onboarding journey, to help you start using the app ASAP.
3. Instant issuing of your EURO IBAN account supporting Instant Sepa transaction (i.e instant movement of money)
4. Our upcoming Excelon Power Accounts offering:

   — Spending reward of up to 5% on your account spending

Transitioning from V1.0 to V2.0

We have tried to make your transitioning from V1.0 to V2.0 as simple as possible.

• When you login you will see a popup asking you to accept the new T&C.
• Once you do this, assuming you are verified earlier, you will be provided with your new Crypto Friendly IBAN supporting Instant Sepa transactions in Euro. (If you are not verified earlier you can go on and verify your ID and Address with our new onboarding service)
• You can start using your new account instantly and you can also transfer the funds from your V1.0 accounts by visiting the Accounts > V1.Excelon accounts and press the “Move your funds to the new wallet” button
